Organisation

La Société Belge d''Infectiologie et de Microbiologie Clinique (SBIMC) a été fondée en 1991, mais trouve ces racines dans un nombre de rencontres formelles et informelles entre les microbiologistes et cliniciens belges et d'autres professionnels de la santé avec un intérêt particulier pour et actifs dans le monde de l'infectiologie et du traitment ant-infectieux. La Belgique a toujours été un endroit où l'infectiologie a été enseignée et pratiquée avec beaucoup de respect pour des standards de très haut niveau. En témoignent la qualité des participations belges à des rencontres internationales et l'organisation de cours nationaux et réunions nationales nombreux.

La SBIMC a été fondée dans le but de consolider les initiatives individuelles de ses fondateurs au niveau national.
